the #4 flames return to Lahaye this weekend for a weekend series against #11 Oakland. The grizzlies are 0-3-1 after losing two to #1 Illinois 6-0 and 12-3. The Flames are 5-1 after a two game sweep of stonybrook on Long Island. The new rankings also come out friday, so the flames may move up in the polls. Game times are 7:30 pm friday and saturday and can be heard at the link below.

this has been a brutal fall sports season for me. I need to figure out how to get the games over my laptop in the car

down 4-1 after the second and playing without a lot of energy and quite a few penalties, the flames came off the mat in the 3rd period with three goals to tieand force overtime. After a scoreless overtime the flames then the won the shootout 2-0 to win 5-4. Jamie Hall called a great game on 90.9 and the color analyst did an excellent job as well.
