Incarnate Word quarterback Cameron Ward has entered transfer portal with 3 seasons of eligibility left. Gaudy statistics and considered the best FCS QB this year. Might we pursue him?

The QB room seems pretty stocked at the moment

He'll be looking for a place where they have a need at QB and a stockpile of talented receivers. Hard pass on Liberty I suspect.

Yeah. Loaded there. OL? Outside WR?, LB?, RB? not as much.

Of course we would be interested. We have made contact. Will see what happens from there. We will add fortenberry plus 1 probably 2 portal wrs. The qb room is talented but unproven. Plus if we get isaiah adams who is visiting this weekend we will have secured 2 of the top 20 juco players in he and reggie young who are both tackles.

We have plenty of talent already and should be focusing on the rest of the offense but anytime a top talent like that is available HF wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't at least reach out.

I posted it on here almost 2 months ago. Yes, CJ is definitely coming back. He will be a big help, if he can stay healthy.

I would LOVE to get Caleb Snead. Like our chances. WR room could transform from a weakness to a strength next year.
