This is a quote from the third link above, and he's from nearby Greensboro:
He's rated 4 stars by Scout, three stars by Rivals and 247, and unranked by ESPN. Composite wise, he's the 11th best ‘dual-threat' quarterback in the country.
And this is the first line of his Twitter profile:
Ball might be life but God is my priority.

havent seen him play but if he couldnt beat out the willis kid after jackson went down then i dont want him. Techs offense was inept most of the year.

If im looking for a transfer qb i want a kid thats leaving because there is a genuine stud blocking him. Not so much when he couldnt even beat out a middle of the road scrub transfer from kansas. That logic obviously isnt infalliable but there are a long line of transfers that were big time busts and further upset the locker room. Especially at qb. Not as big of a deal at other positions but when you bring in a transfer qb you are acknowleding he will get a shot and your not happy with current depth. See philiip sims michael rocco at uva.
