McQueen High alum Brandon Aiyuk jumps onto recruiting radar at Sierra College

Brandon Aiyuk is having a stellar season for the Sierra College football team, but he is just one of several former Northern Nevada prep standouts on the team.

Of course, as a wide receiver, punt and kick returner, Aiyuk gets a little more attention.

Aiyuk, a 2016 McQueen graduate, and now a sophomore at Sierra, leads all California Junior College teams with 12 touchdowns this season. He has 10 touchdowns receiving, one punt return and one kickoff return.

Last week, he had two more punt returns for touchdowns called back because of penalties in Sierra’s 52-30 win over Santa Rosa JC.

Punt returner continues to be an area of need. I was hoping Stubbs would be the answer, and he may yet be, but so far results are mixed.
