River Ridge (La.) John Curtis 2018 cornerback Brandon Davis has gotten three FBS offers, three FCS offers, and reports new FBS interest.

The 6-foot, 170-pound cover man impressed us when we saw him play in person Sept. 9, when Louisiana powerhouse John Curtis fell to Georgia juggernaut Grayson High School at the Battle on the Border High School Showcase in Shreveport, La.

Davis has offers from Colorado State, South Alabama, and ULM, as well as FCS offers from Nicholls State, Southeastern Louisiana, and Southern.

"Memphis is talking to me and is interested," Davis said Wednesday. "UTSA, Southern Miss, and Tulane are interested."

UTSA head coach Frank Wilson has been in contact with Davis, who's also heard from Memphis defensive coordinator Chris Ball and Army West Point fullbacks coach Mike Viti. Davis said Southern Miss had a coach at one of John Curtis' recent games
