With the wideouts getting bigger (hello AGG) having DBs that can measure up is important but they need to be athletic to be able to help in run support but also, of course, defend WRs and TEs as well. He definitely could be a good safety for us

It looks like he'd be better off red shirting, gaining more muscle, and converting to LB. Comes up strong to tackle, but lacks the speed to be on an island covering division 1 WR's

And your evaluation of his speed, or lack thereof, is based on what? Please don't say the video. Highlights never show defects like that. That's why they aren't called lowlights.

If he is excelling playing CB in Miami, he most likely is fast enough to be a DB on the G5 level. Safety if not CB. This kid would need to put on 50 pounds to be a LB.

Anyone have a 24/7 esq breakdown of how many of each rating we've had in the past?

I was thinking the same thing on hagen not just because hes a white db but he seems to have a knack for the ball which was what made hagen so good. Hagen didnt appear to be lightning fast either but he was always around the ball and he developed better ball skills as he got older. Very sure tackler as well. I like him at safety. Could see him pairing with aaron pierre in the future.

You left DJ Stubbs off the 2017 class. I believe he was also a 3 star.

Stubbs and Best for the 2017 class right?

That is a pretty sharp uptick in the 2* field. Looks like the "floor" of out talent pool is decidedly higher.

I think 24/7 is having computer issues. Lynum, Goetz, and Lewis are all exactly the same at .8004. That's unusual to say the least.

It could be, but Lewis has been .8004 for the entire season and since Goetz and Lynum just moved up to 3 stars it could be that .8004 is right there at the lowest 3 star rating possible. Guess we will see as the day goes on. Good eye brother.
