2018 Prospect: QB Brad Jeremiah

I think he's the brother of David Jeremiah, who is currently on the roster. Also son of David Jeremiah and grandson of David Jeremiah.

Anyway he's putting up big numbers through 2 games. 14 TDs and almost 1000 yards.

I don't think he'd want to compete with his bro but worth mentioning I guess.

Have you never had a brother? That's the kind of stuff we live for.

Old FlameFans poster Josh Cox is related to the Jeremiahs including 'Move the Sticks" Daniel. I'll message him to see what he knows. There are highlights from those first two games in his Hudl profile. He retweeted LU celebration from Saturday night/Sunday morning.

I reached out to Josh and he's checking on updates on Brad.

Brad & David's dad David Jeremiah Jr. actually was on the Flames team back in '89-'90.

These patriotic uniforms were special issue for the Honor Bowl series in San Diego honoring those who have served the country.

Didn't Daniel end up at App St?

He did indeed. Daniel is Brad's uncle.

Daniel was QB at Louisiana Monroe before transferring to App State. I think it was his first start at App, when he replaced injured David Reaves (now co-offensive coordinator at South Florida), and scored the winning touchdown in an overtime victory over Wake Forest in the late '90s. Got to know Daniel pretty well back then, and some of the family a little bit. First-class guy. I remember him playing one game against Liberty in Lynchburg.

Brad completed 244 of 370 passes for 3430 yards with 43 touchdowns with only 5 interceptions this season.

Probably not the toughest competition, but there are qbs who couldn't put up those numbers against air. Huge family connection. Don't be surprised if he is on the roster next year, with or without a scholarship.

BTW, he is 6'5" and is also a pitching prospect in baseball.
