Class of 2019 athlete Winston Wright caught up with Recruit Georgia to talk about how his summer is going and how he has progressed.

He’s been working hard in the weight room, even putting in work late in the evening on the 4th of July. He has gained seven pounds since we made his profile back in May. “I’ve grown during the offseason, I weigh 162 now,” Wright said.

Which side of the ball would he fit best? Looks like a heads up kind of player. Defense is my first instinct.

Im thinking DB. He loks like he is athletic enough to hang with the bigger receivers and play tbe ball well, with good speed to close in the passing game but also to come blitz or add support against the run as well

He visited Georgia Tech yesterday. We might have him on campus next weekend. He has stated he wants to make the trip to Lynchburg.

He took an unofficial to Wake Forest yesterday and set up one to Notre Dame on September 30th. Then he posted the following update to Twitter this evening:

Keep in mind that Winston is just a junior. If we don't land this kid, it won't for a lack of effort from the staff.

Teased he has his top 10 already. I think we should still be in the mix.
