Liberty needs to compete more for the homegrown players. Virginia is as good as anywhere at having top level talent.

PH is right...we go round and round on getting VA players and ballcoach's favorite, kids from Central VA. Im in Portsmouth and the P5 schools work this area pretty hard because the talent level is some of the best in the state (along with NoVA) ODU and the FCS really get to pick from the second and third tier talent because the top tier ones that do stay in state pick VT (and sometimes UVa).

Florida, Texas & California are snickering.

The 757 certainly has churned out some great talent over the years that have helped our program.

Welcome, Elisha!

I certainly would put VA in the top 5 as far as talent at the high school level...The best? Probably not...

Ohio
Pennsylvania
Texas

South Carolina

All have better talent.

So what you are saying is we should focus on those areas more than Virginia. Seems like you think Virginia does not produce the talent those states do and the pool is deeper in those areas. Got it! Let's tell the coaches to recruit those areas a little more than Virginia :D

Texas. California and Florida I can agree with. Pennsylvania probably would occupy the other spot in my top 5...Ohio, Georgia and South Carolina...eh, I'd probably disagree from a statewide perspective. All of them would be in my top 10 though

Georgia has vastly better talent than Virginia. It's not even close.

Alabama should also be on that list ahead of Virginia. Alabama and Georgia argue back and forth like Texas/Florida as to who produces the better talent.

Virginia has elite high end talent but doesnt have the depth of talent like the other states that are being mentioned. A stubbs or lewis would probably make the top 25 toward the bottom in virginia.
