Time will tell. It will also likely be heavily influenced by which assistants follow him to the SEC.

Hank Brown's HS HC, Trent Dilfer, is now the HC at UAB. Does he now follow Dilfer to UAB with Freeze gone? Also anyone know how well Reese Mooney did this Fall and if we'll lose him as well?

I have no inside information but I think Mooney is still solid. We’re fortunate he’s playing baseball as well and has a really good relationship with coach Jackson.

Eliyt Nairne reaffirms his commitment which is big.

No idea where Mooney's recruitment is at, but he did just release 2023 highlights on his Hudl. FWIW, his "Top 11" tweet was "all about relationships."

That was a 2021 post. He is still committed to us and having the baseball scholarship as well will keep him here at LU.

Hank Brown is the QB we should be most concerned about losing in light of UAB's move today.

Some might argue that it's more advantageous for Brown. growth-wise, to play under different people at this stage. And Trent should draw interest from multiple rising QB prospects.

As far as Liberty goes, Salter would have to be a primary focus. Huge raw talent. Again, I'd be very surprised if we didn't land Chadwell, Grimes, or someone like that. Signposts point there.
