I hope I'm not being THAT guy but I saw on Twitter that he rescinded his commitment due to "recent events and changes". I reckon that is a veiled reference to the departure of the line coach

I'd call that a pretty thin veil. The role of position coach in recruiting is huge. Perhaps he is thinking he can follow Sam to Southern Miss. If not, maybe the new OL coach can take another shot at him.
