I'm getting the 'this board is currently disabled' message a lot lately. Can the system smell my breath or something?

Just a minor big that should have zero effect on your ability to read or post.

It's not a bug. It's by design.

Our issues lately have been the result of the system that hosts the board running out of some physical resources. Until we can add to those physical resources I have set the board to automatically disable itself when load on the server reaches a certain threshold. This should, in theory, keep the database service from crashing.

I know it's a pain, but believe me when I say that the db service crashing is more of a pain. We risk db corruption every time it happens and I do not want to spend any part of my weekend doing restore of the Flamefans db. I mean, I love you guys but... no.

This is happening a ton lately! But we will survive.

It's a $480 annual difference over our existing server to upgrade our problems away.

We have options to make that happen, though.
