No you always post emoticons with no words following. I can't tell what you are

I understand everyone's frustrations, but I don't think it's worth having this conversation publicly.

If the site had an ignore button, you guys wouldn't be able to entertain me with this conversation (as you wouldn't still be talking about her).

But seriously, I agree, when one person has the last (pointless) post in nearly every forum it's a bit ridiculous.

I'll go on record as being against an Ignore feature. Trust me, you need the weirdos during the summer months.

Does that mean you're going to miss me being around after Tuesday? C'mon, you can admit it big guy.

Just think of all of the fun we would have missed if there was an ignore feature. Sometimes the good stuff takes some time to develop.

That can be abused.

I'm not quite sure...do you really think negative 2 billion rep points is going to keep a 14 year old from posting? It might just fuel them to see how many they can get

I really was just wondering if it was possible. It would be rare if I used it.

I think I would only use it temporarily, when someone was really getting on my nerves.

I would use it. Once. As for having this conversation "publicly" it's been held "privately" ad nauseam - to no avail . I've even tried the "gentle but direct" approach. Nada. I'm begging you for the IGNORE feature. My reasons are EXACTLY the same as olldflame mentioned earlier:
It's really annoying to log on and see the same username as the last poster on most of the forums, and you feel like you need to check to see if something has actually been said, but you know it's probably just a waste of time because it's just an emoticon or something silly.

i still think the simple solution is just to get rid of emoticons. do we really need them?
