LUConn posted this question on the introduce yourselves thread, and i was going to type how i found flamefans on there but decided not to hijack the thread and start a new one so others could do the same.

Anyways, like 3 years ago when i was transferring to Liberty, I was on myspace(it was still cool back then) and on some group for Liberty and SJ had posted a few pictures of the east campus dorms being built (21,22,23,24) and I was going to be living in east 21, so I clicked the link and it came to some thread on here. I signed up for the site, and really havent posted much on here, but now I am starting to post a little more, hence why some people are on here for like 3 days and have 1000 posts and im coming up on 3 years and still not there yet.

JDUB or SJ, not sure which, told me about it after I met them on Facebook the summer before I got here.

It been so long ago that I forgot.

Came from the Firehouse

Yeah, firehouse. I forget how I found that though. I had been wishing there was an LU board for a long time and I found the firehouse one day at work. I think there was a link posted on some alumni site when it was created. It was pretty dead, but gradually more and more people found it as it rose the ranks in google.

I remember schfourteenteen was on it sophomore year. But I never knew what the name was. Then i found it about a year and a half ago - grades have been dropping ever since.

I found the link to the firehouse on the ESPN Liberty Message board.

I came over from the Firehouse too...I didnt contribute as much over there though

I heard some LU staffers slamming it as lame, so I checked it out.

After Liberty was unjustly left out of the playoffs this past fall I went on an exhaustive search for where frustrated Liberty fans were venting. I finally found flamefans on an run of the mill sports website that covers FCS Football. Was a reader for several months before I joined.

I found the firehouse randomly and I think it had a flamefans link on it

I was on Firehouse, then everyone left...couldnt figure out why...they smoothie told me about FF saying hurry up and get my name so someone else doesnt get it acting like they are me and actually in the know

I was really bored one Christmas vacation a few years ago and was reading about LU on Wikipedia. At the bottom of the web page was a listing of "External Links" and there it was: FlameFans - Liberty Sports & Alumni Message Boards.
