2. I hate to fly but Ive been on an airplane 6 times in my life
3. I have a slight hearing issue as a result of my years in radio
4. Ive sprained both my wrists doing the exact same thing
5. Im terrified of heights but always wanted to go bungee jumping or skydiving
6. Im part German on my dad's side
7. I have never lived anywhere outside of the state of VA.
8. I came from a high school graduating class of 19 people which at the time was the largest graduating class in my school's history
9. I am absolutely terrified of horror movies
10. Ive worn tights one time in my life.
11. I got my first radio job at the same station I won my first radio contest at
12. Ive been at Liberty long enough to see 4 complete classes (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005)
13. I have a friend who works for ESPN
14. Ive only been out with a girl 4 times ever
15. I drive a car named Julio and sometimes I wish he was like Herbie
16. I love people and I dont have a problem walking up to someone Ive never met and introducing myself.
17. I was a three time spelling bee champion
18. I write short stories in my spare time
19. I can recite all 66 books of the bible in order in under 20 seconds
20. I once tried to memorize the names and home stadiums of every team in the 4 major professional sports leagues
21. I am not a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins, Indianapolis Colts or any of the other wildly popular teams on campus
22. I want to compete in the Olympics before I turn 45
23. I love Disney movies
24. Ive always wanted to see the world
25. Rachael Chastain is the most awesome girl on the face of the earth and Im glad she is my friend!

Which one are you most shocked about? I have to go with #17. And most of us know what event he would enter for # 22.

A total of 25 items listed and Flame Fans Poster of the Year didn't make the cut. There is also no mention of him applying for the Presby job, his service to the LU marching band, or his crutches. Still, a GREAT list, BJ. Thanks for sharing.

Ha thanks...I just came up with the first 25 things about me that came to mind...and I wanted to integrate some things that most people didnt know about me. I knew the crutches were pretty much common knowledge, the Presby thing too, and FF Poster of the year wouldnt totally resonate with my non-FF friends.

As far as #10...at my old school the 7th grade would do a Shakespeare production every year near the end of school. When my class got the chance to do it we did a Midsummer Night's Dream. I was cast as King Theseus and my drama teacher at the time felt that since we were doing a Shakespeare play that our costumes should reflect as they may have been in that time, and she had me wear these green tights as part of my costume...needless to say when the performance was over I wanted to burn those tights and hope I never had to wear them ever again

BJ, you're a legend and you haven't even graduated yet. The incarnation of the Bojangles/Eagles thread was mystical. Does everyone know you saved me from breaking my ankle in the hole at Williams Stadium...all while you were giving tactical direction to the band?

I am pretty sure that BJ will NOW own the top 3 Threads of the Year in next years awards...

Because I had SO many things I didnt get to mention last time I thought Id be one of those people that does this more than once!

1. I took karate for 3 1/2 years (made it to blue belt)
2. I was once hit in the head with a football during a high school football game (no I was not playing)
3. I have a stuffed bear that I sleep with every night and Ive had him since I was 7
4. I am HIGHLY ADD
5. I started taking sign language in college and actually considered becomign an interpreter at one point
6. I have never sprained either of my ankles (interesting story behind that one)
7. I spent a year in military school
8. I LOVE Werther's Original hard candy
9. Ive had 11 different roommates in college
10. I love all varieties of music but didnt go to my first non-Christian concert until 2 years ago
11. I competed at the state level as a swimmer twice (this from a person who nearly drowned as a baby and was afraid of water for most of my life)
12. Im an admitted hopeless romantic, and Im sure deep down most guys are too
13. I love to write. Ive written numerous short stories but never gotten one professionally published
14. I have been a fan of the Power Rangers since middle school (I actually wanted to be the Black Ranger once)
15. I love khaki pants
16. I believe very much in chivalry and wish there were more honorable young Christian men who shared that belief and would be more respectful to the young woman of this school and the world.
17. I love looking up random sports stats and dropping them into conversation just to confuse and/or astound people
18. 7 is the number of biblical perfection/completion so I think that the fact that Ive been in college this long is a sign from God
19. I once tried pickles and M&Ms together...bad idea
20. I applied for a Division I-AA head football coaching position
21. I applied for a HS head swim coaching position by freshman year
22. I love Liberty University and all the amazing people Ive met.
23. <--- That's the dorm I live in this year. Amazing bunch of guys on my hall!
24. I can dance ballroom but I cant dance anythinng else.
25. One of my biggest pet peeves is bad spelling. If I see anything misspelled in a chat with somebody I have to correct it.

FF Poster of the Year is not even in the top 50 accomplishments in BJ's life. I call for a re-vote...you have to appreciate the title, be proud of the title, share the title!

Again, I wanted things that resonated and could be understood by the people at large not just the community of FlameFans.

mmhmm...my car got that name when my older sister (whose troubles have been very well documented on here...she is steadily improving again PS and your prayers are coveted) made a road trip up to ME to see her best friend and she happened to be a big fan of the Spanish language so she decided to get a Spanish name for her car and its stuck...as for the stuffed animal thing, I got it as a gift when I was a child and I never gave it up.
