No, it wasn't around when that board was active. After it came into existance we posted a link on the ESPN site just in case anybody was there looking for some type of forum.

And yes the firehouse is still sitting there.

If it's any consolation I don't like my name either. I want something you can pronounce. Or something that you can abbreviate with an acronym. what is it Lou-conn? El You Conn? either one sounds dumb.

I think it all started on the ESPN message boards where messed up people like jack sparrow and crazy winthrop people would post incomprehensible things, and then some random person named Mark Zanea or something like that started the Firehouse (http://libertysports.proboards29.com/index.cgi). I don't think he had any affiliation with LU, he just felt like starting the message board. If he only knew what he started.
