"For the second consecutive week, both the Liberty men's and women's indoor track & field teams are ranked in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division I Regional Index. The men's squad sits at No. 4 in the Southeast Region, while the Lady Flames are listed No. 12.

Liberty is the lone Big South Conference school listed in the men's and women's regional rankings. Additionally, the Flames are ranked directly ahead of Commonwealth foes Virginia Tech (No. 5) and Virginia (No. 6)."
