Sorry Im getting excited because the football players officially report for the start of training camp tomorrow. I hope everybody else is this amped up

anybody know if its full pads?

I drove by Texans Camp yesterday and nearly squeezed all the way through my steering wheel. Let's get the season going NOW!

Not for the first couple of days. They go no pads and then shells the first three or four I think.

That's an NCAA requirement for all teams these days. Acclimatization, they call it.

It is a near necessity from a weather standpoint for places like Florida and Texas.

Yes...same as in most states in HS. NCAA also limits the # of 2-a-days they can have in a row. Good stuff from the injury and heat illness prevention standpoint.
