Who’s your biggest game this year?
Liberty
The game's being played October 4th at Conway. It's a night game. First conference game of the year. This will be our annual "blackout" game (signature home contest of the season where Coach Bennett will have his boys wearing all black uniforms). The atmosphere at Brooks Stadium that night will be electric!
Our guys will be looking for revenge after last year's loss at Lynchburg. Whoever wins that game will have the upper-hand in the conference championship race. Should be a great game.

Can't wait

That game might even be worth towing my pop-up camper down to Coastal.

I would think he would go retro with his Coastal blue ones from the beginning of next year

Oy...that was a mess and a half last year...I hope the shirts are red for this fall but if they arent I hope we have red shirts in addition. I think itd be cool to be in bright red in the stands surrounded by all that black

The fact that you even have to ask if you should wear red is sad.

This is very true SJ. They encourage all the students to wear red to the games so it should really have been a no brainer.

I was thinking about wearing my big south championship shirt from '07 to kind of rub their face in it. The only problem, it's white.

That post looks very familiar. I think I posted something like that last night on AGS.
It will be a big game for both teams.
Notice I didn't predict a CCU victory, or a LU win for that matter. But I do believe whoever wins that game will win the Big South championship (and may even have a decent chance of making the playoffs).

You best believe CDB will have his bunch ready to play come November 15. For the life of me, I still don't understand how we let that one slip away. After we got up 24-0 in the 1st quarter, our guys fell asleep. The only loss worse than that one was the "CSU-Super Safety" fiasco back in '05.
By the way, JDUB, you guys should've made the playoffs last year but were jipped.
I would like to see the Big South champion in the playoffs this year. I guarantee you our champion would destroy the MEAC champ, and would probably fair well against the OVC champion too. The Big South has caught up with those two leagues, IMO.
One thing about it, none of us won't have room for excuses come 2010, right?

It's nice to see some league pride on here...in most sports it seems to be one big dog and a bunch of others. Can't wait for the day for 11-1 LU and 11-1 CCU both make the playoffs.

i know that, but i didn't really expect us to make it. We still haven't established a good enough reputation to get in without a solid record, and it wasn't good enough last year. I think 2 inches at W&M and we would have made it... but lets not talk about that one again
