16 of our 22 projected starters are seniors this year.

Ouch! Didn't realize that either. Better win now! Hopefully the red-shirting freshmen thing will pay off and we'll still be fine next year.

With several good recruiting classes in the system, we have some depth. But when you look at key positions we have a lot riding on this season. Most of our seniors are in starting positions as they should be.

Let's win right now.

I’m not trying to jump the gun, as this season hasn’t even started and I’m anxiously awaiting this year. But next year will be somewhat of a rebuilding year. I don’t think we will know how much of a rebuilding year it will be until after this season is over because hopefully some freshman and sophomore will really step up. We know we should be fine at RB, 3 of our 5 OL graduate (same as this year), top 2 WRs (same as this year), however we lose Brock which will be a big question mark regardless of who gets the nod in ’09. Defense loses 7/11 starters, but we play most of our 2 deep constantly, so I think we should be fine on that side of the ball.

Good on paper, but that's it. We know there's a big difference between being good on paper and producing on the field. Like I said, I hope this year some of Rocco's recruits from the past 2-3 years will shine as we know they can.

Based on what we saw on the field from the two initial Rocco classes I feel very good. I am really anxious to see last year's redshirts.
