A Sea Of Red

Man where is all the excitement for football season? this section was jumping early in the summer and now it can go days without anything...9 weeks from today is teh opener and we are only a few weeks from full blown training camp.

I went to Friday morning workouts at 6 am and watched the workout (thanks Coach Gillespie). Greatest #'s turnout on Summer Friday morning workout. Guys were breaking records, working hard on narrow grip bench, power cleans and squat. Stephen Sene showed up to workout, telling some of the guys that their workouts overall were more demanding, except for some running workouts. He jumps in and works with enthusiasm with Bryan Mosier. AT 6 AM!!! He also has made 3 cuts and is running with the two's. Awesome!

As fans/supporters we are just anxious to get started. Sometimes the quiet may indicate a steady confidence for the task at hand.......unfinished business.
I can speak for some of the guys, in that "we don't want to talk about it, we just want to play."

It is the calm before the storm. When camp opens this place will be rocking.

I haven't stopped being excited!

You guys know Im a football fan, but I dont get near as excited as I do for basketball, but every single day I wake up and mark off the calendar to the opening game... Im pretty pumped about this year... It just sucks with no Vince Redd cause it was so fun watching him eat people alive other than that Im about to make one of those chains of the paper rings you used to make as a kid in school for christmas and stuff because Im so pumped... bad thing is Im now so lazy now it will take about 4 days to make

Prior to the first game last year, we didn't know for sure what kind of player Vince Redd would be in our system and against FCS competition either. There are plenty of players to get excited about, both new and returning.

I was always excited for him. He was the only newcomer I knew though
