I bet Coastal would've loved this guy just because of his first name.

that was my first thought. Is this some kind of knighted version of a CCU chicken?

He apparently was considered a 5A stud running back last year before a shoulder injury slowed him down late in the season. Then his school's head coach left and he decided to transfer to one of his school's archrivals that happens to be a state powerhouse. That's why he was ruled ineligible and why he'll probably have the big boys backing off of him (much to our benefit).
Welcome to the family, SirChauncey.

Is there any chance he will play ball this year?

It doesn't appear so based on the ruling. I guess he could transfer again to a private school or leave the state. But he is done with bigtime public school ball in Florida.

I love the Ricky Williams style profile picture. Remember when he used to do locker room interviews with his helmet on?

Trust me, I used to have to deal with it after practice his Heisman season on the one day a week he would talk. He later claimed it was anxiety-related. I doubt it.

I don't like the fact that he's wearing "PC" on his helmet there. Let's Photoshop that.

This is a huge get for Liberty. This kid is an excellent prospect. Highly respected down here. He rushed for over 900 yards last year in only 5 games. Quite frankly I am a little shocked they were able to lock him up so early. He reminds some of Noel Devine, who he just may play his first college game against considering Liberty's depth chart. Once again Liberty has dipped into Florida for an excellent player.

Armwood won the HS championship a couple of years ago. The coach is a Christian, that I do know

I would feel better with a signed letter as well. this would really make for an interesting 09 season and battle for the TB #1 position.

We already have several talented running backs who have been in our system for at least 2 years already, and with Rocco's infatuation to redshirt freshman I don't see him competing for the #1 spot next year.

Why not transfer to LCA...that way he'd have at least two more years HS eligibility....

He would be smart staying at armwood. They are arguably the best prgram in the state

Yeah but he is ineligible to play this season for him.
And for the record, he has family issues that should keep him in Florida until next summer.

Sly Fox, you may be privy to some information that I am not aware of but I kind of doubt it. What family issues are you refering to?
