How about Alphonso Wells who walked on this year...worked his butt off as a walk on..got no carries all Spring Practice because he is learning the system..so for his first contact since 2006 at Hargrave during the Spring Game he carries the rock 3 times for 15 yards!!!!! He told me his weight is down a little since coming out for the team due to the workouts but I think people should watch out for this kid. I walked him into Coach Skalaski's office last year to see if he would get a shot this season so sorry if I seem a lil proud of the young man.....for anyone that hasnt heard of him he was a great hs RB who was 5th string at Hargrave Post Grad..came to LU without a scholly due Prop 48...the RB's in front of him at Hargrave....Keiland Williams(LSU)...Mike Ford(BAMA,SFLA)...Morgan Green(UofMARYLAND)....Corey Goodson (UofKENTUCKY)..George Helow (oleMISS)...okay the FB went to NCSTATE.....so could this be a steal for the program or what I would think LU can mold this guy if they take an interest in him. GO ZO!
