I just read one of your other blogs about indy car racing and I was starting to think you were a little insane with an imaginary life as a racecar driver. But then at the very bottom you mentioned it was RC car racing.

yeah...its a hobby I have been in since I was 19. I run at a track not far from my house. I havent updated that in a while...but anyway, youre gonna enjoy my spring practice blog, and like I said in the first post, Im hoping to continue this during the 08 football season if the spring practice entries go really well.

Short answer...I felt like it. I had actually taken a little something before coming to the stadium so I really didnt feel any pain in my knee (which is ironic because I had taken it for a headache) so I figured Id stand. I probably wont make a habit of it though

TIP: meds don't know WHICH pain you take them for, they just work to block pain by either increasing your pain threshold, or reducing tissue swelling, or both.

I didnt put this in tonight's blog, but I saw Drake doing some work with the punt unit (he and Wes were taking snaps...and Wes got some pretty nice ones off), and I saw him and Ben Shipps working before practice started, and both of them were kicking 50 yarders. Ben I think actually hit one from around 50 before practice

And by "nice ones" you mean the ones that actually went further than 25 yards right?

No I was referring to the ones he shanked...

yes I was talking about the ones that went further than 25 yards...I seriously dont see Wes doing much if any punting after this spring.

If I remember correctly he only had 2-3 of those more than 25 yarders.

yeah he did only have a couple good ones...he looked like one of those big kids on a JV football team who they get to punt (and save those couple ones that got to the returners, most of his punts didnt look very good)

Without...
Anyway, Summers actually made a number of pretty solid catches last night. Itll be interesting to see how he progresses over the spring and summer

Thanks Sly. Im hoping to get some information from the SID/AMR office to help me pick out many of the players. I had to ask Paul Carmany who many of the guys were since I didnt have them on the roster I printed off (2007 roster) or their numbers had changed.
Another note on Summers...I really think he could be a real gamebreaker for us. I liked how he accelerated upfield after making a catch. Right now it looks like the first team receivers to start the spring will be Jon Crawford and Dominic Bolden with Summers as the primary guy for three wide sets. I havent found Sanderson yet but Im sure he is out there somewhere

I was on the student side for practice today. I'm working on today's post right now.
Not to mention...I said earlier that I can't do live posts because I dont have a laptop. (Some people really need to develop some patience...)
