I get the impression he can flat out fly. If he can fit into the Dominic Bolden type of role then I think most of us would be very pleased.

He's good. Real good. Saw him at camp this past summer and his highlights from this year. Kid's fast. Kid can catch. Kid doesn't go down easy. Kid can jump.

Well looks like we have another potentially dangerous return man in this guy as well as a speedy receiver with great hands

This young man is quite impressive and is an exciting ball player to watch! If anyone wants to Google and read about his athletic achievements, you won't find him anywhere under the name Jim. His name is Jimmy Eden! He has been answering to that name all the days of his life... It would be real nice if someone was able to change this error so that we in his home state can track Jimmy (without any confusion) during his bright future with the Liberty Flames!

Thanks for that bit of advice!
I was wondering why I hadn't found anything on him...

Eden has very good speed and quickness. As a wide receiver he can beat you deep, take a short pass and turn it into a big play and he has the courage to go over the middle. Eden shows good concentration, body control and hands and is strong in the air. Defensively he supports the run well and is not afraid to provide run support. Eden is strong in coverage skills and plays the ball well.
I am liking this kid a lot.

Thanks for joining us teejay, and thanks for pointing that out to us. We're excited to have Jimmy on our team.
By the way, don't be a stranger, we have numerous family members of some of our athletes that post here frequently.

BTW teejay, it may prevent some misunderstandings if you know that your username is also the name of the starting point guard on LUs basketball team; TeeJay Bannister.

To avoid any conflict, I would be glad to change my username. Thanks for the heads up!

You're fine, TeeJay--I don't think our point guard ever posts here, but if you saw multiple TeeJay references that sounded like they were basketball related, we wanted you to know that we were talking about him

and not you.

As I said in my Looking at 2008 piece, I think both Eden and Crawford could make the biggest impact on special teams with Bolden likely the #1 receiver and Jon Crawford the #2. Also, we have Sanderson and Summers and a host of other receivers coming back as well. I think both of them could be very special by the time they are done at LU though
