The writer for the Charlotte fishwrap seems confused over the difference between signings and verbal commitments. But this looks like another of our verbals:

Seems kind of small for a nose tackle. Perhaps they move him to the outside to DE?

Uh, our current nose tackle is 6'0 290.

I'm gonna have to say you're wrong on this one.

This kid was playing RB & LB as a junior before spinning up to the line. Its tough to project where he could be utilized at the collegiate level without checking him out in person on the field.

I thought about that after I posted. Most of the time, you see NT's somewhere in the 320-330 range. However, they can still be effective. With our program, I expect he will be somewhere around 300 when he sees the field.

Yeah, in the NFL.

6'2" 275 is good size at our level for a NT, not to mention he will be working with Gillespie for at least a year before he hits the field.
