Liberty’s set of first-team honorees all came on the offensive side of the football. Running back Rashad Jennings, who rushed for 1,113 yards and 15 touchdowns, was joined by offensive guard Stephen Sene and offensive tackle Marshal Ausberry as first-team honorees.http://www.libertyflames.com/index.cfm? ... 71&TeamID=
Sene, who was a second-team all-state selection last year, and Ausberry were part of an offensive line which helped the Flames rush for 2,375 yards, the second-best mark in program history. As an offensive unit, Liberty shattered its school record for points scored in a season, 469 (previous record was 356 in 1997).
Offensive guard Eddie Pinigis was the lone offensive player among Liberty’s second-team all-state honorees. A trio of Flames’ defenders followed Pinigis as second-team selections, led by two of Liberty’s four starting linebackers in Stevie Ray Lloyd and Vince Redd.
