First of all, flood their email (glenn.greenberg@libertymutual.com) inbox and tell them that Ken Karcher is no longer the head football coach for Liberty Univ,

And then for what it's worth, vote and hopefully they'll change the name if it's not too late!!! Hurry! Time is of the essence!!

Who deserves this more than Coach Rocco??? I know no other!!

I commented on their blog to notify them of their error. Let's keep an eye on it to see if they fix it.

I also commented on the website, well over a month ago. No reply.

All this is is a popularity contest to drive people to their website. It's based on nothing.

We regret the oversight of the coaching change. As you know each year there are frequent changes in the college coaching ranks. To help us keep current we utilize contact information from an annual guide the "2007-08 National Directory of College Athletics" and a few outside sources. In September Todd Westmore, Assistant Athletic Director at Liberty University, received a letter from Liberty Mutual explaining the award, its criteria and the selection process. In addition we requested additional information on Coach Rocco's activities in the community. Unfortunately at that time we were unaware of the error on our website and we heard nothing back from the university informing us of this oversight.
We apologize for this error and we hope next year you will continue to support Coach Rocco in his run for the 2008 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award by casting an online vote.
