I'm not quite ready to put a score on it yet, but I think the guys will come out ready like they did against Coastal last Saturday. It took us three plays to score on our first drive, and although it was a pretty good game I think that really shocked them. The thing is, none of these teams is used to seeing this level of Liberty football. If we can come out quick, get a quick TD, and get the Bill rocking, then it could get ugly. The option offense that VMI runs pulls from the Wing T as well, but both are prone to turnovers due to the high-amount of exchanges. I think we see 3+ turnovers Saturday from a defense eager to shut down the Keydets. The offense should have another good day, scoring no less than 32 points.
Finally, I hope the attendance sets an all-time record. This season has been a record-breaking season for Liberty football. In terms of support, financial contributions, flames club members, attendance, and a win Saturday gives us an 8 game home winning streak - the longest in LU history and one of the best in the nation. The Bill is becoming a terrible place for opponents to play, and this should be no different on Saturday. My only hope is that half the lazy-a student body can get out of bed before 1 to come to the game. Attendace will be right under 16K.
