I must know who stuck their head in the broadcast booth and told him this. I couldn't stop laughing. I heard him start to say it and I was just like, no, he's not gonna say it. Then bam, it was broadcasted to the entire middle atlantic.

Not sure, I'll have to check on that. It does have a USB input but I've tried to download content onto a flashdrive but it says that the USB port is not enabled.


One thing I do want to get uploaded was a graphic that they used for us. Whenever they'd show a stat instead of downscaling our entire logo into a little box they would just use the head of the eagle. First time I had ever seen a small version of the logo. It looked pretty good.

I also recorded the game on my DVR. Does anyone else's picture look fuzzy/blurry when the camera zooms out?? Like when they shoot the student section and when they zoom out on the field? The closer shots look a lot sharper.

I am checking with the AMR Office to find out who gave them the "flock of eagles" information on the Flames.

yeah the picture overall was pretty terrible. It was almost like watching a public access channel. When it got dark and the lights came on, the "wet" look of the field was exagerated a whole lot more. It almost looked like the field was covered in snow.

something else I just remembered. How about next time the Big South chooses someone to participate in one of their contests and put them on the air, we choose someone NOT WEARING A PENN STATE HAT! It's so typical of a Big South school.

It did look pretty poor from what I saw. They used a different truck (with different gear) than we usually use for the FTN games. Not sure why it looked so poor.

MASN is also showing the game next week at Gardner-Webb. Luconn I talked about them saying the flock of Eagles thing during the game thread. Truthfully they needed some work in the booth but overall it wasn't bad. I happen to think Mike Tilley and Ray Jones do a far better job because they know what they are talking about and they are both good announcers. The production value overall was good though. The graphics, the shots of campus, crowd shots etc made the atmosphere look spectacular. I was watching other 1AA football games on CN8 and none came close to the atmosphere we had in Williams. SJ and company need to get the Vines Center rockin like Williams Stadium. What a thing of beauty!

I may have thought of a way to burn it onto a DVD. I've got a burner that accepts componant inputs so that might work. I'll let you know.
