We just beat the 3 time BSC Champions, and the next game, against GW could/should be for the title. Hope we stay focused and don't foget about the importance of the VMI game. Let's be out in force once again Saturday to support the team. Don't know how you guys can top yesterday, but here's hoping you do.

It's always the team you shouldn't have a problem with that poses the greatest risk. They've got nothing to lose and they know it.

Waiting for Super to say that "LCA could beat VMI" in football this year.

Definitetrap game here boys. We must be up for it. They do have talent, not much but some.

I won't say that.
VMI's terrible, but we're getting them at a bad time. At this point in the season they're just saying, "Screw it, we got nothing to lose, let's try this _____."
I think we can roll over them if we play like we should.

The thing that could make it a trap is not VMI's talent, but their style. We have faced a lot of pass-happy offenses this year, and the teams that did run (Toledo), were power attacks. I don't think we've faced the option all year. Having said that, I'm sure Rocco and Clark will have them well prepared, and I think we have better athletes to play "assignment" defense than we ever have.
Our offense should have a field day.

I don't think the option will be as big of a hassle as some may think.

With Vince's wing span, can't he just tackle all three runners at once?

In all seriousness if they try to run the option to Vince's side and lets say he commits to the QB even if the QB does pitch it......have a Medic on standby, because the QB will have to be pealed off the turf.

This will not be a trap game for us. Our guys have their eyes set on the prize of that championship ring. They won't let little ol' VMI get in their way of that. Rocco and co. will have them ready to go. There are plenty of upperclassmen on this team that will not let a game like this ruin our season.

I initially had the same fear- but then really looked into VMI's team and season. They are very young, and- with all due respect- fairly limited with regards to talent.
We need to be efficient, and eliminate those penalties. Giving the opposing offense 100 free yards will keep nearly ANY DI team in the game an unnecessarily long time.
As others have said- this is where Coach and the seniors need to step up and hold everyone accountable.

That may be, but we should never underestimate an opponent, no matter who it is.

That's what I meant by saying Rocco and the upperclassmen will not let a game like this ruin our season. They will not let the rest of the team overlook VMI.
