Flames' football team...break out the red for today's Big South game against Coastal Carolina. It's a new look, a departure from the traditional blue jerseys the Flames have worn at home. But in keeping with the theme of today's battle being the "red-letter" game on the Liberty schedule, Flames coach Danny Rocco decided to go with red jerseys with blue numbers today.

My teaching schedule & office hours always seem to get in the way of watching practice, Super. Since you've seen them, are we talking red jerseys with what color pants--blue, red, or white? And do you like the new look of the uniforms?

I actually haven't been to practice since September.

The jerseys are a deep red with blue numbers and a white outline. We're wearing them with the white pants.

Hopefully, I thought it's what I expected; a reverse of those blue unis. Can't wait to see a picture of them!

As for the red jerseys, you knew they were saving it for something big. And the red t-shirt giveaways should've been a tipoff. I LOVE the red gear.

That's what I get for typing a message myself at 6:35 in the morning before I have finished my first cup of coffee.

On a more serious note, directly after the game, our rented jumbotron had this message:
We Just BEAT COASTAL
I hope Super or somone got a pic of that, because it was priceless.
