A new partnership between Liberty Athletics and the LU Bookstore titled “Terrific Tuesdays” has been announced by the Athletics Department.

The promotion, which is in effect for the final three Liberty home football games, offers fans a five percent discount in the LU Bookstore for each touchdown the Flames score. Text books are excluded from the promotion and maximum discount allowed is 30 percent (six touchdowns). The discount is only good on the Tuesday following a Liberty home football game.

I think this means the motto should be changed to RUN IT UP ON COASTAL!!

After seeing an ad in the football program on Saturday that said that "Terrific Touchdown Tuesday" is back for all 7 home games, I went to the bookstore this morning to buy some stuff and was told the discount is only for clothing items this year. Also, the ad stated the maximum discount this year is 25%, not 30% like last year.

After writing the bookstore manager for clarification of what exactly is included in the promotion, the logo items I purchased were indeed part of the sale, so I saved $16.25...

The promotion includes, clothing, music, tradebooks and gifts. Apparently Flames logo items fall under the loose category of gifts.
