Liberty running back Zach Terrell and linebacker Nick Hursky might be available for the Flames' Big South Conference opener Oct. 20 at Charleston Southern.

Terrell, who broke his right wrist against St. Francis Sept. 29 and Hursky, who tore the meniscus in his right knee during practice that week, missed the Flames' game at Toledo Saturday.

As long as they're not rushing it, that sounds like great news to me.

It was a slight tear, not complete tear. Small arthroscopic surgery to clean it up, waiting for it to scar over.

You can probably have that taken care of in a couple weeks really. I had a friend that had a slight tear in his meniscus a couple years ago and he actually did not need surgery. Im no expert on the matter so Im sure someone more informed could correct me on that.

It would be great to have them both back for CSU. I'm sure that was Rocco's goal when they went down.
