Special Teams Player of the Week.
Jackson, a redshirt-senior from Jacksonville, Fla., paced the Flames’ special teams return game in Saturday’s 68-10 win against St. Francis. He finished the contest with five punt returns for 60 yards (12.0 average), including a long return of 18 yards, and in the process became the Big South’s all-time leader with 503 career punt return yards. Jackson tacked on three kickoff returns for 83 yards (27.7 average), and his eight total returns led to four LU touchdowns and one field goal. He finished the game with 267 all-purpose yards – second-highest in Big South history, 143 of which came on kick returns.
Man he's good.

He needs 2 or 3 more years of eligibility.

We don't even have to throw it. That reverse we did on StFU worked out pretty well. Anything that gets him a touch is okay by me.

What, should we run a fade route to Wyton on the left, no right side?

What I said was what Jeremy said the entire night at W&M.

He is so awesome, I think Brock told me a couple of years ago that Wynton senior was a pro football player, I am not sure of that, but I think he told me that.

I'd love to see Wynton and Brock connect on more plays--especially on a couple of deep balls.

If the last couple games are any real indication, Wynton has what scouts would call "game breaking speed". I mean send him on some wheel or seam routes down the sides and take advantage of it in someplace other than special teams. I mean look at the Shippensburg game and you see that when he got in space nobody really could stay within 5 yards of him

What does Wynton's NFL Stock look like at this point? A potential draftee in the later rounds or more along the lines of the free agent route?

Wynton is a super player and one who is always playing hard. I notice he has a habit of always running into the "crowd".It's a crafty move but I think good teams will notice it in their preparation.

I don't think he will get drafted, but will probably get a chance to sign on as a free agent. Check the game preview thread of toledo and there is a link to an article that says there was a NFL scout from the Eagles at the game saturday night to watch wynton along with a couple others.

He has a legitmate shot--he's going to have to go the special teams route--but with his return ability, he could be high in demand, IMO.

There's no doubt he has a shot....speed kills remember?

But I agree....IMO there are at least 2-3 players that we need to make a attempt to give it to them ever 4 downs...IMO we need one deep route with Wynt, then some how get the ball in Zach's hands then let shad bang out the first down. I dont care if they know what we're going to do they are such game changers they will impose their will on them
