i am hoping for a big crowd since it has been a few weeks since our last home game, but i feel some will be jumping off the bandwagon. i really hope the students continue their strong following. i think we will score enough to win and the defense starts to make an improvement.
31-21 LU
9,450 attendance

I don't make game predictions, but you can be sure of that.

LU27-St Francis 16
Attendance 10,700 with half the student section leaving in the 3rd quarter for some reason
I am hoping for a bigger turnout....but after last week, I don't know if it will be happening
EDIT: If this were a 1pm game I would go 2,000 less...but more people seem inclined to come to night games here at Liberty

I'll go on the high side with 8000. I know this school too well, to think otherwise.

Less that 10,000 ACTUAL BODIES in attendance. Look for a lot of empty seats in the SOLD season tickets area.
35-28 LU.

It's hilarious seeing how many people jumped off the bandwagon and are expecting a bad non-scholarship team to play us this close.

call it what you want but we have not proven we can stop anyone recently just yet. until we do, im sure you can expect these types of predictions. predicting a close score is certainly not jumping off the bandwagon..it is genuine concern for the defense.

I don't think there's a "bandwagon" in terms of how well you think the team will do. I think we all thought they would play up to their potential in the beginning of the season. Why would they start now?

why?? I really don't understand where you are coming from on this one?? What have they done lately?? First you say we hype them up too much...now we aren't hyping them up enough....make up your mind man

I am hoping for an offensive explosion, I just have yet to see it this year at all against ANYONE.

I want people to be realistic. This is a team that just got blown out by Robert Morris. They're worse than both Shippensburg and Tusculum. If we were playing a decent team, ok, I'd expect this, but these guys would be a bad to decent DII school.

ok...well, I am at the point where I rather them surpass my low expectations then disappoint me...I set myself up for disappointment last week....no more of that

well, I can tell you that I have done no background checks on this team so I don't have any idea if they're good or not. My prediction was solely based on how we're playing right now.

St. Francis won three games last year. They beat Wagner, Sacred Heart, and SPC (I think that may actually be the school for the blind). They gave up 199.6 yards per game on the ground and 194.3 yards per game in the air. They averaged 184 yards on the ground and 179.5 through the air. Total they gave up 393.9 yards per game and only gained 363.5 themselves. Their average score last year was a loss of more than two touchdowns. Against scholarship teams they lost 48-0 and 63-28.

See, your App St - Michigan reference would make sense if the team coming in to play us was good on their level. For anyone to take a team with a 15 game winning streak and two national championships lightly is stupid. You can only make a prediction once you've looked at both teams and it's quite obvious that you had no clue who we were playing this week (go figure). We've played two teams with pretty high powered offense the past two week and now we can barely beat a non-scholarship team. I love this board. We're like the Anti-VMI.

I think you are getting me and lucon confused. I did study up on St. Francis and my prediction was 27-13.

No, I just tackled both in one response figuring you two would be smart enough to figure out who I was talking about in each situation.
St. Francis hasn't beaten a scholarship team since 2004.

We weren't up to the task against a very good Elon team last week, but we should be able to handle these guys quite easily. I'll take LU in a romp!
Our two RB's will run all over these guys -- and our defense is gonna shut them down.
