Chris posted an interview with Coach Clark yesterday on his blog and it slipped through the cracks.

Q&A with Tom Clark
Just to piggyback off the story that ran in today’s paper regarding Liberty’s defensive struggles, I wanted to post the rest of my interview with Flames defensive coordinator Tom Clark, who is always candid and accessible, even after tough games like last Saturday’s. So was W&M’s 500-plus yard showing a blip, or a sign that Liberty’s defense is seriously flawed?

Only one quote actually made the paper. Here’s the rest of the interview:

N&A: When you looked at the film of the game, what did you see? What went wrong out there?
TC: Well, first of all, I’m very impressed with what William & Mary does offensively. Of course, I was there for three years (as the Tribe’s defensive coordinator) and practiced every day against that offense, and they’re as good as there is at this level. I’ve always felt William & Mary’s offense goes as the quarterback plays, and Jake Phillips is the top quarterback in the United States of America at any level right now. He’s playing like an NFL player. And they’ve had NFL quarterbacks at William & Mary.
