ok let's get this going. no doubt this will be a tough game. i really think we will see vince at DE and we will get more pressure on the QB. the offense will flourish in the four and five wide sets and a special teams TD will secure the win.... 28-24 flames.

Zac Terrell is Big South POTW.

27-21 Liberty. Elon gets a late touchdown to make the score closer. Our defense gets back to the team that only gave up 15.6 ppg last season.

31-24 LU
QB play is still a little shaky but Brock gets a pass because I only criticize overrated african american QB's like DM.
(definately kidding)

Donavan is not OVER RATED! He has 0 receivers to throw to. He drops back to pass and is left hanging out to dry every time by guys who can't get open. How we let Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth land in NE is ridiculous to me but there goes my pro football season. I know you were kidding Ala but I had to chime in.

Apparently you haven't heard what McNabb said.

Scar im a diehard Eagles fan - so is my whole family. McNabb looked like trash vs the Deadskins. It was embarrasing. Even those no name receivers were open and he missed them by feet, not by inches. In the words of my own brother " Donovan Mcnabb looked awful my entire week is ruined now" - i completly agree.
Sorry i had to chime in as well!

I going to be a realist on this game - i think we will start slow again for a half and not be able to score quick late like last week.
34-27 Elon wins

Last time I picked us to lose, we did....
sooooo
LU 24 Elon 20
Brock stumbles first 3 quarters, plays well enough in the end to not get benched.
Defense doesnt play well, more cover 2 problems, has a couple good stops
Kicking is good
Running to the left works like it should - 200 yards
Hicks costs us 14 points

i'm not picking. last week i was overly optimistic, although i was right about it being high scoring.

LU 22
Elon 27
And everybody here has a meltdown.

That's interesting. I thought that the meltdown would come after the W&M loss--but it's almost like the opposite happened with that one.....

I don't make game predictions, but I can tell you right now that I won't be having a meltdown unless we're completely blown out.

I have spoken.
So let it be written. So let it be done.

That's a very real possibility.

38-24 LU, we come out mad because of last week and take it out on the Fighting Chrisitian Phoenix's and go to Hooters to celebrate.

I still can't come up with a clear winner for the game. I still think it's too close to call. Both teams have drastically improved since just 2 years ago.
Yes Liberty will come out mad from last week's game, but this Elon team has something to prove.
How about this, no matter what, the winner's mascot has something to do with either a flame, ashes or burning.
Safe travel for those driving down!

And we'll both have Christians fighting for yards on the field.
