As we try to put the frustration of the W&M defeat behind us, we face a former Big South rival who left for the greener pastures of the SoCon.

Image
#16 Scott Riddle
6' 0" 201 lb Freshman Quarterback
Thru 2 Games: 56-of-88 for 572 Yards with 4 TDs & 2 INTs

Image
Brandon Newsome
5' 10" 200 lb Redshirt Freshman Running Back
Thru 2 Games: 14 Carries for Team Leading 85 Yards with 1 TD

Image
Terrell Hudgins
6' 3" 226 lb Sophomore Receiver
Thru 2 Games: 22 Catches for 234 Yards and 2 TDs

Image
#10 Corey Weaver
6' 0" 206 lb Junior Linebacker
Thru 2 Games: Team Leading 15 Tackles Including 4.5 for Loss

Image
#48 Chris Bland
6' 4" 197 lb Senior Defensive Back
Thru 2 Games: 10 Tackles

Notes: This school took major hits from last year's squad. They lost arguably the best FCS defensive player in the nation to graduation and the NFL. Then they booted the senior-to-be QB for academic reasons. But the true freshman QB Riddle has stepped in and been effective in two off tests to start the year. After opening against a Big East team, the Phoenix follow up by trouncing a DII. So its really tough gauge exactly how good they truly are.

This is another great opportunity to make a roadie with a reasonable drive. It'd be great to have another large contingent of FlameFans away from campus.

Right now it looks like I'll be there. I've not been able to talk anyone into going with me yet, but I'm still going to go. I'll actually be coming in from Elkin, NC.

Looks like Elon has a pretty decent passing game. Admittedly, I haven't done a whole lot of research but losing Wes Pope may have been the best thing for them.

"Pre game meal" Means sitting under the tent and hanging out?

I think I wanna tailgate instead, get the tailgate special, or some Mac n Cheese from KFC.

I listed in the first post in this thread, but let me bring the Elon message board to your attention once again since I've seen a number of you guys already migrating over their for some gameweek discussions.

you have to register to read? That's weak. That's the surest way to sufficate your messageboard.

It doesn't cost anything other than time to register.

But I agree on your premise and that's why we have done everything within our power to keep our forums open. I even hesitated to require membership to post. But it was necessary due to the spam attacks we had last year.

The reason you have to register is because bots started getting in and making bad posts. Becasue of the site i use i cant just lock posting i have to lock all or nothing. I hated doing it but it had to be done.

Believe me, we understand. We've had to go through some pretty extensive measures to keep the bots out of here. Welcome!

My problem was i had to creat my board fast when the previous one shut down so i didnt have time to really get into the features. My goal is to eventually get back to a PhP board but i dont want to have to invest a good deal of money into it, forcing people to pay/donate
