Liberty @ Elon - I look for a lot of offense in this game with Elon coming out with a 10 point win.
Elon by 14
Liberty @ Elon - Elon 35-17
Liberty @ Elon - Elon by 7

wow. chances are we come out mad and ready to earn some respect. i think LU by at least 10. thats assuming we make some changes, which i expect to make. rocco is a good coach, he will do what needs done to get the team ready.

Honestly, I think we win by at least 20. W and M was a great team, and we "went through the fire" against them and are ready for Elon.

Elon's playing good. No use to take them lightly.

we will win this game....before the season started the game that worried me the most was William and Mary....I had a feeling it would be a tough loss, but a loss that we could learn some things from...and that is exactly what it was....now part of me thought we could pull it out last night, simply because we are the more talented team...but sometimes a team has your number and I hope next year (do we play them next year) we can do just that...

we beat Elon next week by 10...there is my prediction already

I'm not.

I'm saying we will be more than ready.

i'm not takin anybody light. i'm hoping that after what happened yesterday we come out fighting and ready to run over anyone.
if we play like we did yesterday for most of the game then i have no doubt we will lose to elon, but i don't think that will happen. i think we'll play like 4th quarter and run over them

were not playing W&M anymore. the series is over

thats the thing...if we won last night I would be worried a lot more about Elon, since they are playing pretty well, but we will be more then ready after this heartbreaking loss....The reason why I feel this way is because of the heart they showed last night in the 4th/OT's.....

that sucks....could be a great rivalry...I hope it gets renewed in the future...I like talking crap with their fans on here...its fun....even if they think we are classless...haha

We dont deserve respect the way weve played this year.

I dont think well have it together next week either.

LU has to BEAT someone good to gain respect. played a tough W&M team well but you still lost. to earn respect you have to win games, and you've only beaten two D2 teams this year.

A win at Elon would be a descent one that would gain us some respect. If we win at Toledo then we could all forget about the freakin W & M loss last night.

thanks for the amazing insight...I wasn't sure if we'd beaten two D2 teams this year or two D1 teams

well then don't complain about not having respect when you haven't beaten anyone to earn respect.

Then why is Elon being so respected?

Anyone at W&M that can't pay respect to a team that came within an inch of moving the chains to challenge for a tieing (and perhaps go ahead score) is not showing sportsmanship.

I go to the games to see great competition. We all saw that last night. Hats off to all.

This could be a great rivalry.

You don't get to make comments like that on this board. Sorry, but you don't have a dog in this fight, so to speak to our fans that way is absurd. You can be unbiased and impartial with your third party position, but you don't get to take on that bossy attitude unless you're one of us.

Elon respected? Now that's the first time I've ever heard that!

I just looked at the FCS top 25 coaches' poll. Liberty had 31 votes, W&M had 2 votes and Elon had none (as of 9/10/2007). So much for Elon's respect!

not a cult- but you really have to belong to a school with a DI athletic program.

one step up from community college (I mean, D III  ) doesn't count.

doesnt matter what level you participate in, to gain respect you have to win games against quality competition. Liberty hasn't done that and I don't really give a crap if i'm not part of your elitist cult (which i'd rather not be part of your greater than thou elitism), the truth is the truth rather it's me saying it or one of your cult members saying it.
