A positive thread

Lib came out of his hole last night and said this but I think it deserves its own thread.
I have never been as proud to be a Liberty fan as I was last night. Our fans were amazing. You guys know I'm one of the most critical of our students and fans because a lot of times they sit on their hands, but last night they were awesome. I don't even know how to describe it. If you were there, thank you. We had alum around us going crazy. Once you guys see the tape from this week and see how the crowd was, you'll understand. If we do it again next week, we'll be louder than the Elon fans.

i lost my voice and sj broke his flag. doesn't matter, it was more useful as a metal pole to beat on the bleachers anyway

Agreed and quoted for truth.
Our side of the field was as loud as the Bill in the 3rd quarter the past couple games.
I was proud to be a Flame last night, and I still am.

Speaking of that, two things:
1) Bryson still has my flag, and it's probably wrinkled as crap.
2) Anyone wanna donate to a new flag pole?

i think it was awesome that we got an L-U chant going more than once across a couple sections at an away game.
also thought it was funny that the cheerleaders were standing there and after we started a chant they would pick up on it and help us out. its about time they did something productive

This thread must stay positive. We can complain about the cheerleaders in another thread, but this one must stay positive.

Really, can you say anything else? Those two words explain it all.

We need to have camps along the Bill like we had last night, where we were all on the same page. MUCH HARDER to do, but the way our sections were working together it was great.
I would do

for Jeff Barber

I think it was easier to coordinate cause we were up high as opposed to being at the bottom. We could see everyone, instead of only seeing 4-5 rows.
With that being said, I'm not giving up the front row.

Vince Redd did nothing last night. He is a not a positive.
Just wondering what did Barber do last night to make ya'll so happy? I agree I love the man too, but what exactly did he do?

Cool. Does anyone know what was up with the dude in the black with the green W&M hat holding the cross up at the end of the 3rd quarter?

think that was magnolia league. we talked about it on a thread somewhere. they took a cross off there chapel and he does that in protest trying to make them put it back or something

He took care of our kids. What exactly happened, I'm not 100% sure, but he did everything he could for our kids to get into the game, and to me, that's nothing short of awesome.

Ohhhhhh yeah. I forgot all about that thing with the cross.

not as much as the last two weeks, but he was still double teamed. he didn't actually do much stat wise, but he has an impact because they use extra players to double team him and run away from him
he did miss some tackles and stuff and i'll be the first to admit i think we've overhyped him

There were times when he blitzed that they only had one guy on him and he couldn't get by them. I'm not saying he should every time, but at least a couple. I'm sure he'll rebound, but last night he didn't do anything.
