Mike Godsil earned the nickname as a freshman. He graded out higher than any offensive lineman in his first start at center at Liberty, leading former Flames coach Ken Karcher to rave about Godsil's passion.

Sorry it took so long to post it here, Chris. Nice work as always.

Thanks Sly. Mike has really grown a lot in terms of maturity in his two-plus years here. Everybody talks about the three FBS guys, but Godsil is a huge reason why that line has success. Seemed to be the right time to write that story.

I can tell you that the boy has been an easy target for razzing now, from the head honcho on down. All in good fun.

Its all good when O-linemen get their well deserved moments in the sun.

Hey, it was Hursky and Pinigis who let the "Passion of the Godsil" out of the bag. Blame them.

That's not all he's taking crap about though.
