45-7 with 13,500 in attendence. The offense gets on track. The defense continues its stellar play but the 2nd string gives up a late TD to breakup the shutout.

Shippensburg hung in there pretty close with a pretty good D-II team last week, so I dont think we'll shut them out, but we should definitely get the best of them.
45-17
14,000 in attendance
Defense shows off with a few sacks and a couple of interceptions
Brock throws for 2 TDs and has over a 60% pass completion rate
Score is 28-0 LU at the half, starters sit the entire 4th quarter

34-10. We just don't blow teams out really. We haven't had a big offensive explosion yet but I think we can get into the 30's again.
15000 in attendance.

SCORE: 38-13
ATTENDANCE: 13,345
BREAKDOWN: Offense looks better, still not great. Running game gets better. Vince has another coming out party (2-3 sacks, 10+ tackles). Band wears something different this week, and the LU chant is well-received and recognized as THE new third-down tradition at the Bill. We will have a +3 turnover margin against Shippensburg, and I will be slightly sunburnt from playing cornhole all afternoon.

45-3
16,666 in attendance, setting an all time single game record (many arrive much earlier due to the new student entrance). Rumors spread of faculty offering extra credit or Christian service credit for students attending football games.
Fumble & Cider both deny reported rumors.

38-10
15,632 for a new record
Ship gets their 10 off 2 interceptions and Brock overthrows 2 wide open receivers or else it would be 52-0. Rocco sounded pretty disappointed in the QB play in the paper today.

So far, 15 of you have picked an attendance smaller than our opening game. Do most of you really think that we will have fewer students and fans at the stadium for game 2?

You very well could. With NASCAR at Richmond, UVA home opener (granted earlier in the day) and VT-LSU as the night game on ESPN, it is possible. Will still be a healthy crowd though.

I'm thinking this will be our smallest crowd all year. My reasons?
1) No gimmick (opener, family weekend, homecoming, conference champs, senior day) - this is the only game with no gimmick to draw people out.
2) No one knows the team we're playing.
3) No big promotion (could go along with the gimmick, but last week we had the tribute promotion, etc).
4) UVA home opener.
5) LSU/VT.
6) Richmond race.

I hate to agree w/ SJ but I do, and you guys have pretty much surrounded my numbers as well.
oh well- I'm sticking w/ 35-10 and 13,450 butts in the stadium.
