Shippensburg Tailgate

the tusculum tailgate was great and the new ideas implemented appeared to be good. again we encourage everyone to come by, eat, say hello, play games and just enjoy yourselves before the game. i do have a favor to ask the flamefans nation. i will be doing a doubleheader of sorts saturday as UVA has their home opener(save the jokes please), then immed. after heading back to the burg for the tailgate. i am asking for one person to help GMTM till i get there which means help cook/collect money. i know some of you are grillers and this would be a huge help. everything will be set up early saturday AM. i know that GMTM wil be there around 2pm, and i think SJ will be there around 3 or so due to prior commitments. one new thing i would like to start is singing fan the flames during our tailgates at least once to set the tempo. this is done at tailgates at UVA and it is a fun time. it's all about starting new traditions in the rocco area so lets get it going! and BTW, for those who could not pay last week i will assume the same for this week so no need to respond. if you need assistance let me know! GO FLAMES!!!

all kidding aside- SMOOTHIE did a great job last week and busted his butt.
I personally appreciated it- someone needs to step up and help the man out- you know I would if I could get down there, bro.
have fun without me!

i'd love to help out. i have every intention of being out there around lunch or early afternoon. gmtm, let me know what you want me to do.
smooth, thanks again for such a great job on Saturday. hopefully everyone paid. no doubt... you (as well as gmtm) are the man (men).
i think SJ would be a fine candidate to start off fan the flames at the tailgates.

I actually may be able to get there at 3. My parents might not go to the family reunion and if they don't, I'm not.

There are rules regarding what can be consumed on university property. We try to encourage these to be followed.
As for the attendance, hopefully as word spreads from the good time had by all last Saturday it will increase the numbers this week. Just remember to bring 5 bucks if you want to partake of the dead critters on the grill.

I am coming later than last week though. Since I have to walk up and down the sidelines for 4 hours, I need my legs. I was going to go to the UVA game with Smooth and TimHoughton but I don't think I will be doing that this week. I do want to get over to C-Ville with the boys before the season is over but as long as I am working the games, it will be difficult to tailgate for 8 hours.

Well you won't have to worry about tickets in C-ville

Bryson, I would think that would be a good time. I haven't heard of anyone wanting to get there earlier than that.
