Have they released officially defense stats yet for this week? I would have given Redd at least 3 sacks.

How about some Flamefans Awards...although they might be construed as LU biased

.
What was the hardest hit on the field last night?
Best Takeaway?
Best Offensive Play/Player?
Best Defensive Play/Player?
Best Coaching Moment?
Etc.

What was the hardest hit on the field last night? Nick Hursky on the punt that caused the fumble.
Best Takeaway? Vince tipping a shovel pass and Best returning it for a touchdown
Best Offensive PlayPlayer? Not much to choose from. I'd say the bomb down the sideline in the first half.
Best Defensive Play/Player? I'm giving the player to Hursky. Yea, Vince had a great game, but most of us were so busy watching him that we didn't realize the game Hursky had. He played great.

Nice...thanks for the input, SJ. I wasn't at the game, so it is cool to get the input from the folks who were actually there. Any way somebody could splice the game footage to get a highlight reel of the game up on youtube?
Need some Flamefans names for these &/or weekly "Monday Morning" poll? Maybe a sticky to keep a running tally during the season?

I'm going to agree with Jon here. Vince Redd wasn't even Liberty's defensive POW. He was good, but Hursky was all over the place.

Yea, Hursky had better game stats than the LB from VMI who won Big South defensive player of the week, but I guess they can't give them all to Liberty. Hursky's hit on the punt return was absolutely awesome! What made Redd so spectacular was that whenever he made a hit or a play of any kind you felt like he just killed someone. I have no doubt that Tusculuum players were doing anything posssible to stay away from Redd's position. It might have helped create a few more plays for Hursky ... I'm not taking anything away from Hursky ...He DID make the plays!
