that may not be an amazing ranking, but that is all Division I schools from both subdivisions...so its not nearly as bad as it may look

I hope not. You might think the fact that we are in the Big South and with a weak schedule has something to do with it.

Polls at this point are based on last year. Being in the Big South helps us more than you think. We were a better conference than 2-3 of the conferences with auto bids last year.

this sagarin poll is based on last year because it's a mathematical poll (think college basketball RPI). since no teams have played and LU has a perceived week schedule, then of course they are going to be ranked low.
