Awfully pregnant? Excruciatingly pregnant? Torturously pregnant? I ask you Y chromosome experts what word I should have chosen to properly describe those last two magical months of pregnancy when the woman's body weight tacks on an extra third of itself and when every joint is swollen and when fluctuating hormones send mood swings into the stratosphere and when increased blood pressure causes blinding migraines and when she can't get any sleep b/c Junior keeps kicking the crap out of her internal organs at 3AM, all of which is taking place during a summer heat wave?

I stood by my wife then and I stand by my wording now.

I wouldn't use any extra adjectives at all, if I planned on keeping my teeth. Just "pregnant" seems to suffice on its own.
