2006 (Fr.): Saw playing time in four games … played against St. Paul’s, Glenville State, Western Carolina and Charleston Southern … completed 2-of-4 pass attempts for 11 yards … one pass attempt recorded against St. Paul’s … 2-for-3 for 11 yards against Western Carolina … also had a rush for a loss of three yards against No. 24 Charleston Southern.



Prep: Graduated from Dacula High School … three-year letterwinner … passed for 900 yards and 12 touchdowns, while rushing for 375 yards and four touchdowns as a junior … led his team to the Region 7 AAAAA championship during his junior campaign … first-team all-region, first-team all-county and first-team all-state as a senior, while throwing for 1,571 yards and a school-record 24 touchdowns … finished his senior year with a 12-2 overall record and as semifinalists in the AAAAA state playoffs … team was ranked third in the state his senior year.

Glad Spencer was able to get some real game experience last fall. I always feel better with a backup QB who has been battle-tested to some extent.
