Prep: Graduated from Culpeper High School … three-year letterwinner and starter ... saw time at safety, wide receiver, quarterback, tailback, punter and kick returner in his three years ... recorded 109 tackles, two interceptions, 291 yards rushing, three rushing TDs, 26 receptions, 505 yards receiving and six receiving touchdowns as a senior ... also had a 37.7-yard punting average in 2003 ... posted over 100 tackles in each of his three years ... finished with 18 career interceptions, including 10 as a junior, and an average of over 20 yards per punt return ... was an all-conference and all-region selection each of his three years ... was named all-state as a senior by the Associated Press and the High School Football Coaches Association ... earned defensive MVP honors for the West squad at the VHSCA All-Star game ... was his conference's Defensive Player of the Year ... an All-America and Mid-Atlantic all-region selection by SuperPrep who was rated as the fifth-best player in the state of Virginia and the 19th-best defensive back in the nation ... was a PrepStar All-American ... team went beyond the regional finals in two of his three years ... lettered two years in basketball.

Looking forward to seeing Mr. Hicks on the field, he should add some experience and depth in the secondary.
