They finally posted Chris' LU notebook on the web. I think we are all anxious to see how Noah Greenbaum performs during camp and into the season.

Liberty University football coach Danny Rocco had reason to be downcast at his team's kicking situation at the end of spring practice.

Punter Ben Beasley was set to graduate. Kicker Zac Kolegue was on the shelf after knee surgery. The only punter was a walk-on wearing a number in the 60s.

Then the UVa pipeline opened again.

Noah's been kicking really well. Yesterday all of his place kicks were long and straight, and today his punts were nice spirals with good hang time. It's only him and Drake out there right now, and he's looking really good.

We definitely need an improvement in this area. It's by far our biggest weakness. Hopefully, he will do alright.

An interesting development regarding punting from Chris ...
Quick hits

Sophomore Wes Cheek made an impression by scoring two touchdowns in Liberty's April spring game. He'll run the ball Saturday, but Rocco expects to use him as a backup to punter Zac Kolegue. "He'll probably punt in the opener," Rocco said.

i was really intrigued by the cheek deal. i hope he can help us. as far a noah is concerned i remember seeing him kick during pregame at UVA and he looked pretty solid but was behind a guy who just had a better leg. im looking forward to seeing noah help us out.
